Abair applications are designed without an Abair account or central Abair-hosted learning-profile database.

Most learning progress, preferences and settings are stored locally on your device.

Other limited information may be processed by app stores, advertising providers, purchase-management providers, website systems or support services.

1. Delete Learning Data Stored on Your Device

Android

The wording may vary by device:

Settings → Apps → Abair → Storage → Clear storage or Clear data

You may also delete the application.

iPhone and iPad

Delete the application from your device:

Settings → General → iPhone Storage → Select the Abair app → Delete App

Using “Offload App” may preserve some application data.

Use “Delete App” when you want to remove locally stored application data.

In-app deletion

If your version of the application provides a Reset Progress or Delete Local Data option, you may use that option instead.

Deleting local data normally removes learning progress, settings, cached content, streaks and other information stored only inside the application.

This action may be permanent.

2. Purchases and Subscriptions

Deleting an application does not automatically:

cancel a subscription;
delete an Apple or Google purchase record;
remove transaction information held by an app store; or
remove information that must be retained for accounting, fraud-prevention or legal reasons.

Cancel subscriptions through the store account used to make the purchase.

Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions

Google Play

Google Play → Profile → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions

3. Restore Purchases

After reinstalling an application, you may be able to use Restore Purchases to restore eligible premium access.

Restoring purchases does not normally restore locally stored:

lesson progress;
streaks;
settings;
rewards; or
vocabulary history.

Consumable purchases may not be restorable.

4. Request Deletion of Information Held by Abair

To request access to or deletion of personal information held directly by ABAIR (PTY) LTD, email:

Include:

the name of the Abair application;
whether you use Android or iOS;
a description of the information you want deleted;
the approximate date of your support contact or purchase, if relevant; and
an app-store transaction reference or anonymous service identifier only if reasonably required.

Do not send your password, complete payment-card number or unnecessary identification documents.

Because Abair does not use personal user accounts, we may hold no information that can be connected directly to you.

We may also be unable to locate anonymous third-party information without a relevant identifier.

5. Website and Support Information

You may ask us to delete information submitted through:

the Abair contact form;
a support email;
a privacy enquiry; or
another direct communication with Abair.

We may retain limited records where required for legal compliance, fraud prevention, accounting, dispute resolution or proof that a request was handled.

6. Third-Party Information

Certain information is controlled independently by Apple, Google, Unity, RevenueCat, Microsoft or another service provider.
